The French revolution

The French Revolution is defined as the political upheaval of world importance that began in France in 1789. Inspired by the success of the American Revolution, French citizens overthrew the noble, ruling class and establish a democratic government. The French monarchy under Louis XVI was viewed as oppressive and corrupt and the social structure was rigid, meaning it did not allow for social mobility which eventually forced the people to demand change.

I would consider the french revolution a significant change because it went from the goverment a absolute monarchy to a very flexible monarchy. Nepolean gave a people the freedoms that they wante like, freedom of speech and they liked him because he was a very good leader. Also i would consider that the revolution a success becasue people got what they wanted.

King louis XVI was a corrupt person and there was no freedom and thats what they wanted. The people wanted freedoms, they wated social mobility.
