Industrial Revolution, term usually applied to the social and economic changes that mark the transition from a stable agricultural and commercial society to a modern industrial society relying on complex machinery rather than tools.

It began in Britain because Great Britain had everything that they needed to do i with. They went from people on the farms to work the land to the people that owned the land to make the machines that made it easier to farm the land and that they didn't need as many people to work on the land they only needed people to work the machines.People didn't end up having that much money because they were paid very little because there was no minimum wage. they had kids doing work that was very dangerous and harmful to them at very young ages and got paid very very little. ANd there was nothing they could about it becasue the family needed the money and this was the only way to get the money was to work everyone in the family.
